About the project
This project came about through a collaboration with our Sales department at Assent. The International Aerospace Environmental Group (IAEG) is a non-profit organization of global aerospace companies created to collaborate on innovative environmental solutions for the industry. To keep a good relationship with this group (that included companies like Bowing and Bombardier) we created a look and feel for their brand along with some standard templates for them to use. That request later rolled into many custom videos. Below are the 3 options we presented to the client. The "Airstream" was chosen. Download the full proposal here.
IAEG Branding
OPTION 1: THE "AIRSTREAM" (CHOSEN CONCEPT)
The Airstream concept has rounded blue and green motifs throughout which are elements pulled from the IAEG’s existing logo and enlarged to mimic the flowing motion of an airstream. The blue and green colours provide a professional tone while also representing the environmental aspect of IAEG. A clean sans-serif typeface framed by horizontal lines contrasts with the rounded motif. The photography for this concept focuses on the beauty of flight by focusing on the movement and action of aircraft framed by bright open skies. This reinforces the movement and flow of the overall design.

OPTION 2: THE "MODERN GRADIENT"
The Modern Gradient is a simplified brand concept, designed to be clean, clear and modern. This is conveyed through the use of bold imagery and colour washes in bright shades of green and blue. These colours were selected for similar reasons to the Airstream brand concept, but are presented differently. The photography used focuses on the intricate components and pieces that make up an aircraft, demonstrating the complexities of both the aircraft and the regulatory environment itself.

OPTION 2: THE "GREEN PRINT"
The Greenprint concept plays with two aspects of IAEG; wanting to provide solutions for environmental issues and the complexity of the requirements to achieve this. The photography for this concept is of beautiful natural environments much like the ones IAEG works to preserve (thriving forests, fresh air and clean bodies of water). The overlapping blueprints of aircrafts represents the aspect of complexity and variability in IAEG’s mission. The colours used are all earth tones that can only be found in nature and the crisp modern font is a perfect contrast to the imagery surrounding it.
